Simply Blissful

A while back, I had a sweet-tooth craving, and started the hunt for a café in Hua Hin where I could enjoy a slice of cake. I asked a few people from school for suggestions, and the name Bliss Café kept coming up.

So I decided to try it out, and together with my friends Woo & Choden, we went to Bliss Café & Restaurant one evening for a late lunch/early dinner. 

Bliss Café is a cosy little café located in Hua Hin, on soi (Thai for street) 82 - just before the Grand Market. Right from the moment I walked into the café, I was drawn in by the calm and colourful atmosphere. The seating arrangement inside is informal, with different types of chairs arranged casually across the café, and a number of little trinkets placed in different sections of the restaurant - some for decoration purposes, while others are on sale. There are sofas decorated with cute, little cushions as well as armchairs with unique, artistic patterns; and the tables range from coffee tables to dining tables. 

​We decided to sit at the back of the café where we could enjoy our meals and a conversation with minimal interruption.
To start with, Woo ordered a cup of coffee and a sandwich, while Choden ordered mushroom soup and garlic bread, and I had a tuna and bacon panini sandwich served with salad.

As we ate, we talked about different things. Choden and I bonded over everything from food to fashion, while Woo and I talked about music. I was enjoying myself so much that I almost forgot about dessert!😄

After we were done with our main courses, I got myself a slice of chocolate fudge cake which was served with chocolate sauce and cream (pictured above). It turned out to be just as good as everyone had told me it would be.​😃
All in all, I'm happy to report that Bliss Café not only lived up to its expectations, but it also exceeded them.

​And as always, good food and good company are an unbeatable combination. 😉

The prices at Bliss Café range from 60 - 600 Thai Baht, depending on what you'd like to have. And the café is open every day - except on Wednesdays - from 9.00am - 8.00pm.
